A New Chapter | Oct. 2025

As change comes with another season, I wanted to post an update - albeit a regrettably delayed one.

This past half-year has presented great change, particularly as I transitioned from a sadly neglectful workplace to one that has shown me a great kindness. A series of events that, aside from with a select few, I have felt unable to voice due to a fear of further mistreatment whilst I was still tied to my previous employment post-resignation. With this, and some unfortunate personal news, I have been using the past few months to focus on self nurturing and forming lovely connections offline.

It is now, as I find the spirit to enjoy the hobbies that I love anew, that I feel ready to be open and vulnerable again online. My hope is to share in our hobbies, as I broaden my profile to be one of many interests rather than just literary - as I had originally intended, but naturally strayed from due to the nature of my work at the time.

That is not to say that I will not be sharing literary posts going forward, reading has been a great love and comfort from a young age and I will continue to treasure that part of me. I have made so many beautiful connections through a shared love of reading, and have been very fortunate to meet a variety of spectacular authors over these past couple of years.

All of this is to say that I am hoping to be more present going forward, and that I am excited to explore and share in a many interests with such a lovely community of hobbyists.
